All These Miles

Commencing on January 1, 2023, the All These Miles series encapsulates a distinctive approach to artistic creation by seamlessly merging the physicality of trail running with the intricacies of visual storytelling. Each piece in the series tells the story of a single trail run, capturing elements such as distance, elevation, route, time, landscape photography, and discovered objects. Sometimes snippets of conversation, a thought, or headlines of the day make their way into the work.

In 2023, this exploration documented 251 runs which covered 2,389 miles, 410,000 feet of vertical gain, lasting over 551 hours.
